Working primarily in mutli-media, installation, and video montage, Maria Markham focuses on the Anthropocene and the failures of capitalism driving the climate crisis and global economic inequities and instabilities. Maria explores change from the industrial through the digital to the psychopolitical systems including the imbalanced power structures, socio-cultural anxieties and upheavals that mark contemporary life.
David Perry splits time, mostly between Philadelphia and Shanghai, and seeks, in his writing, research and teaching, to focus on hyperlocal effects of hyperglobal changes, from climate on down.
