Niamh Cunningham

Niamh Cunningham is an artist based in Beijing exploring ecological insights and themes of collective transformation. She gathers from the global public one minute tree stories on video for the Memory Palace of Tree Stories.

Marcela is a maker and educator based in Shanghai. With a background in architecture and interaction design, her work takes a wide range of research and form such as interactive and kinetic structures, wearables, data physicalization, toys, upcycled artifacts, and bio materials, among others.

Monika Lin

Monika's research-based practice deals primarily with social-political themes emphasizing imperial and colonial legacies; ecologies of the Anthropocene; the social relevance of art through dialogue, collaboration and relational experience; and questions of myth and materiality. Ms. Lin has lived in Shanghai since 2006.

Maria Markham

Working primarily in mutli-media, installation, and video montage, Maria Markham focuses on the Anthropocene and the failures of capitalism driving the climate crisis and global economic inequities and instabilities. Maria explores change from the industrial through the digital to the psychopolitical systems including the imbalanced power structures, socio-cultural anxieties and upheavals that mark contemporary life.
